This year’s Paschal Candle highlights the mission of the SYNODAL CHURCH, to journey together as a people of God deeply rooted in Tradition and with our hearts and minds focused on listening to what the Spirit of God is saying in our times.  The blue depicts the breath of the spirit giving life to every decision and action of the Church and of our lives.

The Paschal candle serves as a profound symbol of hope, renewal, and faith for Christians worldwide. Its light shines brightly, illuminating the path for us as we journey through life, guided by the eternal light of Christ.During the Easter Vigil, as the darkness of the church is gradually illuminated by the paschal candle’s flame, let us remember all those countries in our world thrown into darkness and chaos.Our fluid art candle depicts the rising sun shining through the cross. With our paschal candle let our prayer shine brightly in those dark places where light is needed. Let us send out peace, reconciliation, hope and love to countries experiencing war, famine and natural disasters and in our living, and through our prayer, be a healing light for our world suffering the effects of war and climate change.
