A noted spiritual writer and a priest of the Russian Byzantine rite, Fr. Maloney has published over fifty books on prayer and spirituality. He holds a doctorate in Oriental Theology from the Pontifical Oriental Institute. For many years he taught theology at Fordham University and currently lives in Seal Beach, California, where he founded Contemplative Ministries.
