Kate Ritger is an oblate of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She currently serves as the caretaker of the Common Ground Garden, a ministry of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict. where she combines caring for the earth, growing food , and building community around a vibrant local food system. Kate has also served in campus ministry, hospital chaplaincy, group spiritual direction, and retreat work. She is the coeditor of Prayer in all Things: A Saint Benedict’s & Saint John’s Prayer Book.
