“If Jesus said anything, he said it in Aramaic”. (Dr Neil Douglas-Klotz) This retreat combines both information about the Aramaic Jesus with the contemplative practices of chant and meditation. We look at some of the Beatitudes in a new a refreshing light, ‘Blessed are they who are ripe!’ The retreat will focus on the meaning they may have had to the people to whom Jesus was speaking and explores how these Aramaic words may also speak to us today.
