Aramaic Jesus, ‘Our Father’ (Weekend)

June 26, 2020 | Retreats

“If Jesus said anything, he said it in Aramaic”. (Dr Neil Douglas-Klotz)
This retreat combines some information about the Aramaic Jesus with the contemplative practices of chant and meditation.

We will focus on the Lords’ Prayer and some of its possible meanings translated from the Aramaic. Chanting and meditating with these meanings will deepen our experience of the Aramaic Jesus. The invitation is to open into our own response, a new and expansive way of perceiving the prayer we know so well.
