What is it to live with wisdom? It is to live fully awake in the centre of the contradictions of our times while refusing to be defined. For when I am home with wisdom I can take my ease, for nothing is bitter in her company.
It is not solving the contradiction, but remaining in the midst of it, in peace, knowing that it is fully solved, but that the solution is secret and will never be guessed until it is revealed – the wise heart lives in Christ. – Merton

Arrival: Friday, 15 August between 3pm and 4pm
Departure: The retreat ends on Sunday, 17 August with Middle Hour at 1 pm. There is the option of staying on for private reflection on Sunday afternoon and evening, at no extra cost. Â Rooms must be vacated and keys returned by 9 am on Monday, 18 August.
Retreat Cost
A $150 guided retreat payment is asked in addition to the accommodation cost. Pensioner discount or other reductions according to need are available.
