Women who enter our Benedictine way of life undertake a lifelong process of formation and education. This takes place in a number of ways:

The Abbess gives regular talks to the community, focusing on the Rule of St Benedict, the Word of God, and the liturgical feasts and seasons.
Guest speakers are invited to share their expertise with the community and to offer workshops on a variety of topics.
Solemnly professed sisters are encouraged to undertake a Bachelor of Theology online.
Some sisters also study spiritual direction online, through the Heart of Life Centre for Spiritual and Pastoral Formation or the Spiritual Direction program at Benet Hill Monastery in Colorado Springs, USA.
Sisters have attended monastic formation courses in Rome and at St John’s Abbey, Collegeville, as well as personal renewal courses in Australia and overseas.
